The Books Are on Their Way

There’s something special about putting a book in the mail.
Not uploading a file. Not watching numbers on a screen.
But an actual copy—paper, ink, weight in your hands—leaving my desk and traveling across the country to someone who chose to read my words.
Today I mailed out the giveaway copies of the quiet calendar, my first poetry collection.

The winners should start watching their mailboxes.
Each copy represents something that means a lot to me. This book began during a time when I was simply trying to make sense of silence and loss. What started as counting days eventually became a collection of poems about healing, truth, and learning to move forward.
Knowing that those pages are now heading out into the world—to people who want to read them—is surreal and deeply humbling.
To the winners:
Thank you for supporting my work and for being part of this strange, beautiful writing journey with me.
When your copy arrives, I hope you take your time with it. Fold pages.
Underline things. Sit with the quiet moments.
And if a poem speaks to you, I’d love to hear about it.
More books are coming soon, and I’m grateful you’re here for the ride.
