As an Indie Author, I hoped my book would be recognized and my words would resonate with readers. I devoted countless hours to sending my book to readers for reviews and later to editors for critiques.
The journey of self-publishing, like the one I embarked on for the quiet calendar, comes with challenges: gaining recognition, finding an audience, and balancing creativity with the financial cost. However, I needed to maintain creative control and authenticity in my storytelling.
This Award from Literary Titan makes me feel I made the right choice.
The bottom line is I never wrote my book to make money, I wrote it for you. The reader who needed to felt seen, understood and not alone.
